In present day, you assume the role of Kai, whose mission is to nurse her ailing grandfather back to health. Yet, the situation is far from simple. Nonno harbors plans that will challenge Kai's perceptions of reality, and deep-rooted secrets and treachery lurk beneath the seemingly idyllic surface of the community. Furthermore, a disconcerting bird-like figure incessantly haunts Kai's dreams.
